Game Scores with UIUC Chinese Volleyball Team
Hello, All:
We had total of 10 games last Saturday with UIUC. Each team was trying to provide fun to everyone and so coed was inevitable with the first game and last one being the strongest team on both sides. Of course, UIUC is still playing with all types of advanced personal and team skills and quite a lot of them were efficient. Since most our players are new, so we just took the simplest tactics to compete with them. The most amazing thing was our team spirit. I was convinced for our player's dedication and commitment to the game. So many players so many times, they tried to rescue the ball by kneeing down on the floor, even crawling and rolling on the floor. One of the game even lasted about 6 or 7 back-and-forths and was one of the most entertaining game to watch. Everyone had fun and we got to know each other better, which was what we were pursuing-Friendship.
I would like to give special thanks to Will who joined our training
just Friday night but he played so well in all different positions
and different rols. Of course, thanks for all of team members for their cooperation and dedication.
Here is our team roster:
Sirida, Calvin, Wu Qian, Zhang Shu, Rick Li, Li Qiang, Wei Ke, Ma
Yan, Xiao Xing, William and Chen Qun.
